Darryll’s beautiful and cosy annex is in the lovely Potter’s Bar, which is only a short trip away to London’s Kings Cross on the train. If you want to escape the crowds on an evening during your holiday, have a quiet meal whilst catching up on Netflix, or perhaps a BBQ (the private garden is gorgeous!) then this place is for you. We loved (okay I loved the most) the cleanliness of the place. I have OCD and I dread unclean places, but this place- you could eat off the floor, it is remarkable! I felt very comfortable indeed. The decor is bright, calming and cheerful, and there is absolutely everything you need to cook a meal and plenty of places to relax and enjoy it. Darryll and Demi were great with communication, (we didn’t need anything at all but they were in touch to check we were happy). We felt thoroughly relaxed and looked after. We loved the quiet and solitude of the leafy street, and we all slept very well each night. We will definitely be back and again and most certainly recommend staying here to anyone.
We enjoyed staying in Daryll's property and it was close to St Albans which we were visiting. It was clean, tidy and had two decent sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a decking area overlooking the lawn , at the rear of the property. Lovely open plan lounge and kitchen area. Excellant communication from the hosts.
Perfect comfortably stay in excellent location. Ended up extending our stay and hope to stay again in same place should I visit Manchester again .
I am so happy that I was able to book this lovely AirBnB for a week! Coming from the USA, I didn’t know a lot about this area. The property is absolutely gorgeous and neighborhood is completely safe. The space is incredibly well thought out and has a bright and airy feeling when you walk in. Looking out the backdoor, there is beautiful scenery and a very nice garden, which I enjoyed during my stay. The heated floors are a very nice touch and greatly appreciated for cooler mornings. Down the street you have several fantastic restaurants to choose from, and the train is only a 5 minute walk. The location is superb and everyone is incredibly friendly. While the property is amazing, it’s the hosts who really make your stay special. Every question was answered promptly, and they did everything they could to ensure the stay was comfortable. Even when we had a medical emergency, they were there to help in any way they could. Demi and Darryll absolutely go above and beyond in every way, and I hope to stay again with them in the future. Thank you for everything you do!
Fantastic location, excellent apartment and was nice and clean. Great communication with the hosts and easy to collect and drop off keys. Added bonus of having a car parking space. Would definitely stay again!
